Wat Chalong, also known as Wat Chaithararam, is a Buddhist temple located in the Phuket Province of Thailand. The temple is open daily from 7am to 5pm and admission is free.

The temple is famous for its elaborate architecture and beautiful decorations. Visitors can see a variety of statues and shrines, including a 60-meter tall chedi (stupa) that is said to contain a bone fragment from the Buddha himself. The temple is also home to a number of meditation and prayer rooms, as well as a museum dedicated to the life and teachings of the Buddha.

In the surrounding area, visitors can explore the nearby Big Buddha statue, which is visible from Wat Chalong and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The Big Buddha is open daily from 8am to 7:30pm and admission is free.

Another popular attraction in the area is the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary, which offers visitors the chance to interact with rescued elephants in a natural setting. The sanctuary is open daily from 9am to 5pm and admission starts at 3,000 baht per person.
